What We Do
Eva Marsden Centre for Social Justice and Aging works to identify and address the underlying causes of poverty and social exclusion affecting older adults. We work with all levels of government and academic institutions to support research and policy development.
In collaboration with numerous organizations, EMC is involved in supporting social justice initiatives that represent the real changes required to provide the right to dignity, not charity.
With the drafting of our charter in 1975, NDGSCC undertook a responsibility to advocate on behalf of the older population on a broader scale. EMC continues to expand our role in the community in terms of education, advocacy and collective action.
